The new Edition of the Film Arena “C’era una Volta… a Vigna Murata” has kicked off

The “C’era una Volta… a Vigna Murata” free film arena is back, organized by the Cultural Association Lanterne Magiche in Fonte Maravigliosa. Inaugurated on June 30th with the film “Volare” by Margherita Buy, who presented her first work as a director, the event will take place until July 13th in the ninth district.

The event includes 14 appointments, with productions ranging from animated films to timeless cults and cinéma d’auteur. Among the most remarkable guests will be the director Matteo Garrone with his film “Io Capitano” and Matteo Rovere, who will introduce “Veloce come il Vento”. In addition, one evening will be dedicated to a short film competition that will culminate with the awarding of the “Golden Lantern” to the best short film.

The arena has been set up in Via Andrea Meldola, in the square in front of the Vigna Murata district market, an easy to reach location from the BV Oly Hotel, making it even more convenient for our guests to participate.
